Big things are happening at Phoenix Forge, we have doors! It has been very exciting to see this long time project come to life. Below are the latest photos of construction progress. Take a look and be sure to take our poll about what you are most excited to use once Phoenix Forge opens this fall.
Our new reception area now has paint, lights, and power. The reception desk and checkout tool crib are coming next.
We have doors! The orange door goes to the metal shop.
The Textile/Fabric Arts area will be on the left of this room, next to the Electronics/Robotics area on the right. You can make wearable electronics here, screenprint some shirts, or make a quilt.
We Want to Hear from You
Phoenix Forge will open this fall, and we want to hear from you. What areas of the makerspace do you plan to use? Share with us what you are excited about by taking our poll in our community Meet Up group here.
As we navigate through COVID-19, our team has been hard at work developing maker kits that can be used at home. Some will be easy, while others will involve 3D design and modeling prior to fabrication. Keep a lookout for more details about these exciting maker kits that will be available for purchase (or included with your Phoenix Forge membership in some cases). With each kit, you will receive one-on-one help from our experts (in-person or by video conference). Get ready to learn and create in the comfort and safety of your own home.
