Membership 101: Reservations

The majority of the tools and equipment at Phoenix Forge are available to members via reservations. Making reservations in advance allows members to choose times to work in the space that works best for them, reduces conflicting schedules and wait time, and ensures we are prepared to facilitate safe usage.

In this article, we’ll go over how to make a reservation, our reservation policies, and some tips and best practices.

What tools and equipment can be reserved?

Once you have completed the needed orientation for a machine or work area, you are able to reserve time in that work area. Requirements for each work area can vary, so please see our tools and equipment page for more details.

Some machines in our space are first come first served while others require a reservation. Below is a list of our most popular areas and their reservation availability:

How do I make a work area/machine reservation?

Reservations are made through our online member portal, which is managed by EZFacility. You can view all available reservations upon login via the calendar, but we recommend using the filter button to see just the work area/machine you are interested in for each day.

What about classes?

The majority of our classes and orientations are for members only. Spots can be reserved and purchased through our member portal, following the same process as making a machine reservation.

If you’re looking for our latest classes, You can find a full list of curriculum in the classes tab, as well as a quick reference monthly class calendar.

Reservation Best Practices

Shop reservations through the member portal can only be made up to 24 hours in advance to ensure the work area or machine is staffed and available for use. If you are unable to make the reservation through the member portal, you can always contact us via email or phone to reserve a machine or work area, availability permitting.

Our full reservation policy, including cancellations, no-shows, rescheduling and refunds can be found in the Phoenix Forge member handbook or by asking one of our member services staff.
