Maker Movie Night with Julian Curi
In partnership with AIGA AZ, we’re transforming our craft area into a make-shift movie theater for a special screening of GRUFF, a handmade paper short film written, directed, designed, and animated by Julian Curi.
GRUFF follows a globe-trotting super spy seeking her gruff father’s approval, only to learn that love isn’t always expressed the same way. Created over three years using paper puppets and sets, this heartfelt film explores quiet love, loss, and connection.
Join us Thursday August 28th @ 6PM to watch the film and hear Julian Curi discuss his creative and material processes in a live Q&A.
