A MAKERSPACE INVASION: UFO ON COLLISION COURSE WITH PHOENIX FORGE

Phoenix, AZ – Top scientists and officials have confirmed the swirling rumors that several spacecraft of unknown origin will crash land in downtown Phoenix on October 25th between 5-8PM. Advanced satellite imagery and decoded communications indicate that the spacecraft is unarmed, but severely damaged, and is in search of suitable human equipment to make repairs. The reports have sparked a wave of fear, speculation, creative curiosity as Phoenix Forge appears to be the likely location for what some are calling the Makerspace Invasion.

Bruce Balfor, Phoenix Forge’s Executive Director, has formed a response team to welcome the visitors into the makerspace. “We’re preparing our workshops to accommodate alien technology, doing everything we can to make them feel at home,” said Balfor. Staff will reportedly be disguised as intergalactic beings, and have invited the community to join in creating space-themed art and craft projects to support the repair and return of the aliens to space.

While the makerspace is known for safety, many remain skeptical about the alien’s motivations and suspicious extraterrestrial vibes. Brad, a makerspace staff member who was previously abducted by a UFO, hopes to quell any concerns about the uninvited guests. “They aren’t as bad as you might think—look at me, I turned out just fine!,” he said, taking a break from sniffing a plank of zebra wood.

The response has left some in the community wondering if Phoenix Forge staff are of this earth at all. But this reporter thinks you should be the judge, and go see the Makerspace Invasion for yourself. Head to Phoenix Forge on October 25th between 5-8PM, dressed in your best space-themed outfit for a free, all-ages evening of spooky spaced-out crafts, live music, and maybe even spot the aliens at work.
